The 2019 Oyx engine summer calibration test was successfully concluded in Turpan, Xinjiang. 20 new vehicles from domestic vehicle manufacturers have undergone a 26-day summer calibration test. This test is mainly a vehicle and engine matching calibration test.

In July and August, the day temperature in Turpan is above 40℃, and its surface temperature can reach 75℃, which meets the high temperature calibration test climatic conditions. The summer calibration test is to debug the engine under high-temperature environmental conditions (above 40 degrees Celsius), so that the engine can achieve low emissions, enhance vehicle performance as much as possible, save fuel, and improve the operability of the vehicle in summer. This is also an indispensable key link in the EFI engine development project. It can ensure that the car avoids problems such as boiling, air resistance and fire in the hot summer, so that consumers can use the car with confidence.

In addition to the high-temperature test, the engine calibration has to undergo a plateau test, which is set in Qilian, Qinghai. The plateau environmental calibration test was carried out on Dadongshuyakou Mountain, and the test was mainly for the calibration of engine startability. Every day, the engine is cold-started checked and debugged at Dadongshuyakou Mountain with an altitude of 4120m and an air temperature of 0℃ to 10℃.

After 26 days of hard work, the high-temperature calibration test of Oyikes Automobile was successfully concluded. The calibration test vehicle traveled nearly 7000 km, which lasted 1 month. After hardships, it overcomes various obstacles in nature and endures high altitude hypoxia, The test of high temperature and extreme heat has successfully completed the high-temperature plateau test, and each test item has reached the national national sixth vehicle standard.
